Heather Yelland

Session 1: Getting Clear

Heather is a ‘people’ specialist. A renowned international speaker, she helps Growth Program participants develop a clear sense of legacy as well as clarity about ‘why’ they are doing what they do. Heather’s career spans 30 years in the people development field, along with degrees in Arts and Psychology and two post graduate qualifications in Systems Theory and Business. She is Founder and Director of both The Elevation Company and Green SuperCamp Australia as well as an Honorary Director of Green SuperCamp Bali.

Benji Krowitz

Session 2: Building your Future

Building your future requires a laser focus on the choices you are making and clear accountabilities for execution. As a strategy consultant, Ben brings a combination of rigour, structure and a design mindset to unpack the drivers of your organisation’s future success. Ben translates the insights and best-practice learnings from working with leading companies to provide a practical approach to crafting your strategy.

Larry Fingleson

Session 3: Enabling Connections 

Larry is a successful businessman who is skilled in building and growing companies having worked with both large and small organisations. He brings unique insights to The Growth Project including how small organisations can grow by applying the structure and discipline of larger corporations whilst maintaining the entrepreneurial spirit and culture of a smaller company. Larry, who is Managing Director of Priority Advisory Group, developed The Growth Project in partnership with Peter Baines OAM due to a deep internal desire to help others. Each of these sessions will be facilitated by Larry with Guest Presenters.

Session 4: Shared Value

Are you marketing goosebumps yet? In this session we will unwrap the keys to open the Shared Value between charities and corporates, volunteers and other supporters.  The session will include a panel that have done it before to discuss and explore how to create engaging shared experiences. The session will also include guest experts on the topic to hear about different models and methods to help transform your funding model.

David Penglase

Session 5: Influencing through Storytelling

David is a best-selling author, behavioural scientist and international ‘Hall of Fame’ conference speaker. He works with audiences of top-tier corporations and is renowned for his use of story-telling, real life humour and evidence-based research to help people gain clarity, trust and success in their professional and personal lives. As facilitator of session five on Story Telling, along with guest presenters, will share with you a range of communication and positive influencing strategies to enhance your comfort, competence and confidence in public speaking and your capacity to engage audiences of all sizes. David has degrees in business and human resource development, an MBA, a Master degree in Professional Ethics and MSc degree in Applied Positive Psychology.

Jayne Meyer Tucker – JMTinc

Session 6: Measurement & Impact

As Founder of JMTinc and a social engineer, Jayne Meyer Tucker is a champion for harmony and social justice. With particular expertise across the Not For Profit Sector, Jayne’s global experience and thought leadership considers the consequences of incorporating emergent impact within the For Social Purpose movement. It is this expertise in social outcomes, theory of change and program logic that Jayne shares in this session of The Growth Project. She helps participants understand why measuring and managing outcomes is fundamental to sustainability and provides practical action items to help enhance the operations of each charity.

Martin Mulcare

Session 7: Financial Acumen & Governance

Drawing on his experience as an Executive and Director of financial services companies, Martin helps Growth Project participants understand how to run their organisation effectively. Martin’s diverse experience working with small businesses and volunteer-based organisations aids his understanding of the diverse range of stakeholders involved in charity management. Martin is currently the Chairman of Macquarie Life Limited, the Chairman of Board Risk Committee of SCOR Global Life Australia and the Principal of Mulcare Professional Services.

The Growth Project

The Growth Project is a non-profit organisation that supports small, successful charities to maximise their impact on the world.

We deliver this through an innovative personal development program that brings together charity and business leaders in an environment of shared learning. Throughout the 12-month course, participants share knowledge and experiences, learn how to run more effective and efficient organisations and develop their leadership skills.
