The Growth Program
A one-year program that will set you up for long-term successThe Growth Program
The Growth Program is an innovative personal and professional development program that brings together 10 charity leaders and 10 business leaders for each intake. The charity and business leaders are paired, and together they participate in eight group learning sessions over a 12-month period.
The Program aims to deliver knowledge and experiences that enable participants to have a greater positive impact on society. Past participants also talk of the personal growth and fulfillment they experience from participating in the program.
The course concludes with a graduation event where participants present their charity and their experience to a room of Growth Project supporters.
Charity Leaders
The eight group-learning sessions are designed to help charity leaders drive efficiencies and effectiveness within their charity. The wide range of topics includes things such as Building Networks, Creating Shared Experiences, Governance and Storytelling. The program is delivered at no cost to the charity leaders.
Business Leaders
Business leaders attend the eight group-sessions with their charity leader, sharing ideas and knowledge throughout the course. Whilst benefiting the charity, this also provides a leadership development opportunity for the business leader who is challenged to develop their influencing skills and take what they have learnt back to their organisation.
Time commitment
Enrolling in The Growth Program commits you to eight full-day sessions throughout the year plus the graduation event.
Location
The Growth Program is currently offered in the UK.

How do you stand out from the crowd when there are so many charities competing for sponsor attention? In this session you will be encouraged to write and deliver a compelling and engaging story to a panel of successful presenters.
Session 6: Measurement & Impact
Measuring and managing outcomes is fundamental to sustainability. This session will help you measure and manage things effectively and provide practical action items to help enhance the operations of the charity.
Session 7: Governance
Proper governance frameworks give your key stakeholders, including sponsors, confidence you are a reputable organisation and that they are protected from risk. This session will focus on what’s important to report and to who. There will also be a financial awareness workshop delivered by our founding partner, Commonwealth Bank.
Session 8: Graduation
This is the final session of the program and your chance to put everything you’ve learnt into practice. It includes presenting your pitch to the stakeholders involved in the program and other interested supporters.
The Growth Project
The Growth Project is a non-profit organisation that supports small, successful charities to maximise their impact on the world.
We delivered this through an innovative personal development program that brought together charity and business leaders in an environment of shared learning. Throughout the 12-month course, participants shared knowledge and experiences, learnt how to run more effective and efficient organisations and developed their leadership skills.
